The buzz surrounding Edi Rama's invitation to his podcast to a DP social media personality from Korça, Ilir Vrenozi, says a lot about how the freedom of being a "democrat" is conceived in Sali Berisha's party.
Edi Rama's podcast has over 1 million followers and participation in it is a free promotion. "Syri" is the television of Zeni, the son of Sali Berisha, and participation of Democrats there costs from 2 thousand euros to 8 thousand euros, according to a public price list that has been made known by the marketing of this television itself.
If you have the chance to have Edi Rama invite you to his podcast, you have the opportunity to spread your messages to a free audience many times larger than on Zenit television. If you appear on Zenit television, almost no one will watch you, but you have to pay 8 thousand euros to call yourself a democrat.
Now both of these events became news in the media.
The news that Vrenozi had rejected Rama was interpreted by Zeni television executives as a failed attempt to buy him. That is, if Vrenozi were to appear on Rama's podcast, he would be called a sellout, a traitor, etc., as he would automatically be called bought by Rama.
If you appear on Zenit television, you have to give Zenit 8 thousand euros and you are called a democrat.
So, the only person who is allowed to be bought with money in the DP is Zeni. When you pay him, you are called a democrat and loyal. When you appear without money on the prime minister's podcast, you are called a traitor.
Of course, Edi Rama is having a blast with this campaign and this Vrenozi is the right character to complete the picture of the campaign's excitement, but if these Democrats really have someone important, why don't they make him an MP in Korça, but call him a democrat of sacrifice without rewarding him?
If he is truly a democrat, and even more so if they call him a serious character who is worthy of democracy, with as much fame as he has on social media, they should have made him an MP.
The fact that they have not made him an MP or that they do not include him in the career lists shows that they are either scared of his freedom or his stupidity. For the latter, I suspect that the majority of them are stupid themselves, while they have filled the list with stupid people. So I believe that they are more afraid of his freedom. That is why they are happy that he did not go to Edi Rama's podcast, without money.
Now calm down and get in line to pay 8 thousand euros in one go at the Doctor's son's television. He is the only one who is allowed to "buy" in the DP, the only one who is allowed to get a building permit from the government, the only one who can build in Tirana and on the coast, the only one who can free the lands blocked by the government, taken through corruption, and the only one to whom even the candidates for DP deputies have to pay. I am talking about those on the open list, because those on the closed list have paid an advance.
