The US Embassy in Tirana has reacted immediately through a post on the X platform, where it states that it supports the punishment that KPL gave to these attacks and states that it stands by the legal professionals who seek to end impunity.
"We welcome the condemnation by KLP of the direct and indirect attacks against SPAK in the last days and weeks. We will continue to stand by the overwhelming majority of Albanian citizens who support the new justice institutions and the key role they play in Albania's democracy. The US stands by law-abiding justice professionals and will support all those who seek to end impunity," the US embassy said in a statement.

The American Embassy in Tirana and the Delegation of the European Union, as well as the British Embassy, came out on Wednesday on the side of the Special Prosecutor against Organized Crime and Corruption, headed by Altin Dumani, after repeated attacks against them, in recent days, by former president and chairman of the Freedom Party Ilir Meta.
Even today during a press conference, Mr. Meta accused Mr. Dumani of being a "political spokesman of the Renaissance party", and that according to him, he opened the "ÇEZ-DIA case in December 2019 by order of Edi Rama and McGonigal. And at the height of the war, to protect the Constitution and the Constitutional Court". Offering "unreserved support for the legal activity of every prosecutor", KLP "condemns any hate speech, expression, insulting and intimidating action that aims to unfairly denigrate the figure of prosecutors or exert pressure on them, calling on everyone not to interfere in any way with the professional work of the prosecutors of the Special Prosecutor's Office".

Even the Delegation of the European Union, while talking about "unacceptable statements" states that "the EU stands by Albanian magistrates and professionals engaged in the fight against corruption and organized crime" underlining that "attacks or intimidation against members of the judiciary have no place in democracy".
In the same line, British Ambassador Alastair King-Smith, who brings to attention, through a statement on social networks, that he has "reiterated the United Kingdom's strong support for SPAK and their vital efforts to improve accountability and to put an end to impunity, in the interest of all Albanian citizens"./ Our Time
