Essentially, the Israel-Iran conflict, beyond the religious justification that may be acceptable, is completely unnecessary, especially for Iran, because it is not even a border country.
Analysts are endlessly trying to interpret the new Israel-Iran war! Some of them allude that US intervention would cause all-out war in the Region! In fact, this is not the case! US intervention would end the conflict and no one in the Region would have the courage to declare war on the US!
If the conflict continues only between Israel and Iran, then the conflict would be much more dangerous for the parties and for the entire world, because Iran would accelerate at all costs the realization of the atomic bomb that it would use without hesitation against Israel, and if the latter were to have difficulties in the conflict that would call into question its existence, it would have a good chance of using its nuclear arsenal against Iran!
Israel's national security philosophy is very strong/orthodox and they have proven that they do not prioritize anything over national interest, not even special relations with the US!

Israel's neighbors have tried several times and have only lost, and due to the lessons of history and internal problems of political stability, they have given up on the strategy of confronting war!
Israel is more favored in the latest conflict because it has a stable democratic system for its citizens and is not at risk of any political instability. On the contrary, conflict and national interest favor internal political stability.
This is not the case for Iran, which has a political system that appears to be at its end and could open a chain of severe political problems.
Also, Israel has a strong ally like the US while Iran does not have such an ally even in the region because it has major divisions with the Arab countries because they are Shiites. No Arab country would want Iran to emerge victorious against Israel.
Also, Russia has its own problems and is not in the conditions to defend it as it was during the Soviet Union.
While China has other priorities. Therefore, the loser in this unnecessary conflict could be Iran!
