What did the Safet Gjic scandal produce beyond the legal consequences that will be faced by the protagonists engaged in the inappropriate scene of a sexual nature in the office of the mayor of Kukës?!
1) A big stain of doubt, that the offices of public and state institutions are used as harem rooms by the incumbents. The ones that are talked up and down in public now have a factual backing.
2) The perception that a woman or girl who enters an official's office and stays alone for a certain time is performing an inappropriate action and why in reality maybe not. Suspicion increases.
3) All the holders and leaders of the institutions will be viewed with prejudice for any form of their communication towards subordinates or other persons who contact them individually and this can be transformed into a form of abuse with false claims and denunciations for abusive purposes.
4) If in the Gjici case it is proven that the girl was infiltrated to ensnare the mayor, for blackmail reasons, then we are facing a dangerous scheme and method of hostage-taking of decision-making institutions by interest groups or criminal groups aiming at fines or other interests of beneficial character through imposition.
5) Justice must investigate deeply, correctly and quickly the case which seems to have no protagonist caught in flagrant violation of the law. In addition to the former mayor of Kukes who violated the ethical and instructional code by falling prey to sexual weakness and intemperance, it is likely that the girl involved in the inappropriate relationship with Safet Gjicin will also be brought into criminal proceedings, if she is the organizer or implementer of the plan to entrapped the mayor for illegal or dubious purposes as such.
6) The publicly displayed case of this inappropriate relationship will cause many heads of institutions who are correct, to enter into paranoia and complete during the exercise of their duties, due to random circumstances, which are not necessarily similar as in the case of the mayor of Kukës Safet Gjici.
7) The only positive consequence is the fact that now every man or boy in office does well to be restrained as much as possible in the face of any temptation that may appear to him in public premises or offices. Donjuans of the state offices will now have to keep the snake in the cage, if they don't want to end up in an iron cage themselves, not just pants where they keep their "snake"!
