When a country destroys... construction!

Greed for construction has led to the razing of bakers' houses for construction sites which today thrive on the dramas of the honest who were evicted to make way for the fools.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful place with sun, wind, rushing water, seas, lakes, mountains which were destroyed by... construction.

Of course, this is not a fairy tale that starts like this, but it is the drama of a fabulous country that the foreigners called Albani, while the locals called it Albania.

In places deserted by nature, construction is the solution. Dubai for example, only a few decades ago you had no signs of life, but today, thanks to construction, yesterday's desert has been transformed into an architectural wonder, a prosperous place, an oasis coveted by many who prefer that type of tourism.

Construction has transformed war-torn countries, such as Seoul, into modern metropolises. Seoul is the example of how a country rises like a Phoenix from its own ashes and transforms into a symbol of resilience and progress.

Construction has worked wonders in countries devastated by natural disasters such as earthquakes. It is enough to see Japan or how Haiti is today, 14 years after the terrible earthquake of 2010, to understand that construction is a blessing!

But why in Albania construction, instead of coming as a blessing, follows us as a curse?

How did it happen that the feeling of love for the blessed homeland gave way to the platonic love for concrete?

People in the desert run to oases to quench their thirst, while thirst in Albania is quenched only with water and cement.

Construction with and without permission. Not only houses, businesses and shopping centers were built without permission, but entire cities were also built without permission, which today are spread everywhere like weeds.

Without permission, it was built in historic areas on other people's property, on the riverbed, on the seashore, on top of hills and along every road and highway, stealing not only the land and the sun, but also the soul.

The construction required the opening of quarries, disfiguring the hills and scraping the mountains.

The need for sand and gravel destroyed the river beds. Greed for money took concrete to parks and gardens.

The stupidity behind the construction has devalued the two most powerful currencies of the world, the euro and the dollar, making that today construction is considered a buying currency: Give me an apartment, give me a car, give me a studio apartment, give me a land.

The wave of constructions continues to collide and take in front of every law, every functionary and every police platoon that dares to oppose.

Like every fairy tale, this construction story should have a happy ending, but it didn't. The inhumane construction continues to leave behind so much human sacrifice that today every word you can say begins and ends only with helplessness and despair.

The wave of construction is bringing the tsunami of stupidity while the coast of logic and justice is not in sight!

PS Of course there is responsibility for everything that happened, but RESPONSIBILITY is INDIVIDUAL.
