Years ago, in a small town in the south of Albania, two administration employees came to the mayor's office complaining about each other. The first, after expressing a multitude of accusations about the second, who remained silent in order to finally tell the manager the most serious 'accusation' against the first, was left stunned when he, before the latter spoke, told him the mayor that the man in front of him, among other things, was also immoral. So, what he had and what the other thought was the strongest 'weapon' and the heaviest 'accusation', this one hastened to 'burn' him, telling him exactly what the other was waiting to tell him.
How the story went further is not important, but I remembered this event last night, while watching the TV shows and the debate regarding the visit of the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, to Albania, where exactly the same ones who support Berisha, designed " Non Grata" from the USA, the same ones who think there is a big conspiracy in everything that happens in America, that Soros has captured and bought the US State Department, that America is corrupt and the McGonigal case brought it up first in the light of this and full of other accusations and nonsense, exactly this group of anachronists and bought with the money of 30 years of corruption, demanded accountability, threw rumuses, made irony... why Secretary Blinken did not meet the rest of the opposition, that euro -Atlantic, who believes the opposite of what they believe in relation to the USA and the way the American administration works.
Not to mention in this line of ironies also deputies of "Non Grata", who during these days did not leave stupid things out of their mouths in relation to Blinken, how he would bring McGonigal with him or how on his plane he would there were also a large number of Afghans. Not to mention those who wrote and believed that Blinken would secretly meet Berisha.
So, they also demanded an account and raised questions about why Blinken did not meet Lulzim Basha yesterday, since their idol is locked in the 8th floor by order of Blinken, which was bought by Soros.
This is the absurd panorama of an absurd country like Albania, which sees itself as the center of the globe in relation to major world developments. This way of seeing oneself at the center of everything is not today's, but much earlier, and it is the 'disease' of every little one who definitely wants to become 'big', but often chooses the wrong path, shrinking even more in relation to what is happening around him.
Despite this irrational situation, the visit of the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, to a troubled World and a Region that is enough to ignite the fuel of collective stupidity, is good news for the Albanian people and nation, despite the developments of daily politics.
The absurdity in which the opposition is located, the defactoring that has been done to it through anachronistic, conflicting behaviors in relation to international partners, the prolonged media war from all sides and trenches, propaganda to keep in the game and factor Berisha and his group, as the only way to stay long and undisturbed Edi Rama in power, but even a long fratricidal clash in its ranks, certainly cannot be resolved by the American Secretary of State, especially at a time when the world is seething with bloody conflicts and armed.
The Benjamins of "Non Grata" and those who have their eyes from the Attic, are 'clear' in what America 'is', so there is no reason why they keep their ears to what she says and who she belongs to and does not belong to. No matter how things turn out in the future, they are excluded from any meeting and negotiation, as long as they support Sali Berisha and think that Blinken is bought by Soros and corrupted by McGonigal.
As for the rest of the DP, the Euro-Atlantic one, unlike the Attic, it is not easy, but not impossible, the path is not paved, but it is open, it is not in its period anymore good, but it has all the right timing, it is not strong, but there is no string that keeps it tied to the fears of the past, which can make it very quickly turn into an important factor and a partner reliable for the US.
