A young man was injured this Thursday afternoon in an incident at sea, after he was allegedly hit by a boat's propeller, suffering a serious cut on his leg.
The injured man, identified as Santiago Çerçizi, was urgently transported to receive medical attention, while his health condition has not yet been announced.
According to preliminary data from the Border Police, Çerçiz was on a boat sailing from Karaburun to Vlora. Initial investigations suggest that he fell from the boat, sustaining an injury to his leg.
The Border Police have launched an investigation to clarify the full circumstances of the incident and are questioning other people who were on board at the time of the incident. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact dynamics of the injury.
