The list of new MPs remains the main cause of boredom and discontent in the DP. A major battle has really begun within that political force. It was known that a fight would break out within them, until Berisha decided to "erase" 80 percent of the existing MPs from the memory of that party. The "gladiators" of the Parliament hall are also at risk, just as Berisha's close "friends" are at risk.
Those who once, and in the last 3 years, have supported him, strengthened his image, and have clashed with colleagues and the police, will not be on the new list, of May 11, 2025. New names will be included in the list, without any contribution at all to that party, friends and acquaintances of Zen and Argita will be included, and contributors will be left out. Those who clashed with the police, who lit flares and burned chairs in Parliament, will not be on the list. Of course, this has angered most of them.
Current MPs from Vlora, Fier, Elbasan or elsewhere have begun to speak out against Berisha's expected decisions regarding the new list of names. Outside that list will remain the party's opponents, those who were forcibly taken away by the police due to opposition actions ordered by Berisha. The disappointment has begun to be expressed openly in television studios and in the interviews they give every day. This year's battle within that party has the potential to destroy that political force.

Of course, the bill of defeat will once again remain with Berisha, even though he knows very well that their satisfaction comes from his infidelity. A party that has been in opposition for 12 years should have been in perfection this campaign, but the opposite is happening. The fragmentation of the DP is likely to continue even after May 11th.
