Today I have secured the most famous document in Albania, which has made the entire Albanian society curious: the denunciation of Nesti Angoni, which removes any doubt that we are not dealing with a professional denunciation, as they have sold us.
All the legends woven around this denunciation, which was so extensive, that it contained secret information that was impossible to obtain from an anonymous person, are simply lies. Unfortunately, they are lies emanating from SPAK.
The famous anonymous "whistleblower" has written only one page of a letter, all lies, which I am describing more or less what he says. I am not publishing the facsimile since it is under investigation and Veliaj still has no official charges, having been imprisoned for arguing with the prosecutor.
The "whistleblower" not only fails to provide any important information, but also transmits to SPAK banal rumors circulating in the city about Erion Veliaj.
Specifically, he says that when Erion Veliaj became minister in 2013, he got an apartment in "Kodra e Diellit" and has close ties to the owner of "Kodra e Diellit", Gentian Sula. After that, he made his wife Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Support.
Then, he says that Gentian Sula has received several tenders from the Municipality. "Agikons" is the construction company, perhaps the first or second largest in the country and of course it will enter competitions for public works. It has also entered the competition for SPAK tenders. The crime is if the competition was unfair, not the fact that it participated and won. There are no such charges yet.
The whistleblower continues with the lie that Erion Veliaj has three villas in Qerret, near the tourist village of Gentian Sula, and demands that it be verified where Erion Veliaj gets this money.
The letter, according to the protocol, arrived in July 2023 and was given for evaluation to Mr. Dado, who verified the "fact" that it is true that Erion Veliaj is acquainted with Gentian Sula and that he has an apartment in "Kodra e Diellit". After this, a property investigation against him began.
That's all!
This fact destroys the entire mystery that the character Nesti Angoni tried to cover himself with. He is neither a foreign service, nor Belinda Balluku, nor SHISH, but SPAK itself.
SPAK has simply decided to target a political figure to vet his assets, since they failed to find him a defendant in the incinerators' file or that of the former directors of the Municipality, and they have fabricated an anonymous letter, which is actually a collection of rumors, to launch an investigation.
When I say that it is a collection of rumors, I mean that I am familiar with both characters, I am among the first residents of "Kodra e Diellit", since 2009, and I can even declare before the court, if you wish, that Erion Veliaj came to "Kodra e Diellit" long before 2013 and still has the same apartment that he had.
Gentiana Sula, the wife of Gentian Sula, has become Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Support as part of the PS-LSI agreement and is on the list of LSI officials. It can be verified in the political agreement between the two parties. She has also become director of the Files Authority with the support of LSI.
Gentiana Sulaj, before becoming deputy minister, was an expert in the Education sector at the World Bank in Tirana, with a CV that did credit to the Ministry that accepted that position.
Erion Veliaj does not have a single villa in Qerret, let alone three villas, as the "complainant" writes, but his wife's parents have a modest villa, which they exchanged for an apartment they previously had there, adding an additional 30 thousand euros in value.
For these 30 thousand euros, Gentian Sula is accused of not having received it yet and it is called corruption!
Ajola Xoxa's family is, in addition to being a well-known Albanian family because of the writer Jakov Xoxa, also a family with consolidated businesses since 1995.
The accusation that since Ajola's mother's villa contains her son's toys, then it is Erion Veliaj's villa is ridiculous and absurd. SPAK has not said this about Sali Berisha.
He has been staying for 10 years in his villa in Lalëz, which he razed in 2013 and rebuilt in 2014, (you can verify it from Orthophotos) without any permission and without declaring any expenses. SPAK still refers to it as Argita's villa and not Berisha's.
Why does Berisha have the right to stay at his daughter's villa, demolish it and rebuild it without declaring expenses, and SPAK calls it "Argitë's villa", while they call Erion Veliaj's mother-in-law's villa "Erion's villa"?!
In fact, at Argita Berisha's villa, there were not only her nieces' "toys", but all the safes with money and documents taken from Albanian state offices, and his "Digital Citizen" office.
This is a double standard, provocative and completely unprofessional.
I believe that Erion Veliaj and Ajola Xoxa may have had the financial means to buy a villa, but they did not buy it, perhaps for ethical reasons, perhaps because they did not see it as necessary.
But this does not mean that his mother-in-law's villa is his villa. All of this clearly shows that the entire page of the letter that has the name "Nesti Angoni" is filled with verifiable lies, even before the investigation begins.
In a banal manner, the prosecutor in the case considered as "verified" only the fact that Gentian Sula knows Erion Veliaj and that the latter lives in "Kodra e Diellit", and this was enough to start the investigation. There is no need to "learn" from Nesti Angoni that he knows all of Tirana and it is not a crime nor a reason to start an investigation.
It's not a crime to know someone.
It is a crime to target a person to punish them at all costs, by forging anonymous letters and initiating a vetting process for the assets of their family circle, either politically or personally motivated.
This is a dangerous precedent for the rule of law. And unfortunately, it is not an isolated case.
