This opposition is the funniest of the 34 years of democracy, so much so that this transition seems unremarkable, when you compare it to the stage where the Albanians shout, one from the top of the balcony, the other from the top of the podium in front of the town hall.
For the fifth or sixth time (but it doesn't matter), a "handful" of people who say that "we are the opposition", gather in front of the door of the municipality of Tirana, and protest. Somewhat special "their protest".
After the "energetic and bombastic" speeches, Belindi takes the floor, and after him come the checkers, the Molotov cocktails, the policemen are pushed, the mayor, the prime minister, etc. are seen with a house book. So this was and remains the "protest of the opposition". When you see them from above, they look like a "handful of people", who gather in front of an institution, and do not know what they are doing, what they are looking for, who encourages them, who directs them, their purpose, or the political force they represent.
They say that "we are the Democratic Party", then they say that "we are the victory, we will imprison Erion and Rama". So in this case, they also do the prosecutor, the judge, the police. Imagine a little, if this "handful of people" have the power tomorrow, come and run the state institutions, solve the troubles and problems of Tirana and Albania? It would be a fatality. But their mind is not full. They took it seriously, as the former historical leader told them that "we will remove Erion from the municipality, Edi Rama from the government". The naivety of a leader is wonderfully reflected in the stupidity of a "handful of people", who are so easily manipulated.
They don't come from the Moon or Mars. They know that accusations and denunciations are sent to the competent bodies, and that Erion, Rama or anyone else escapes with a free vote from the majority of Albanians, and not from Molotov cocktails and their eggs. If they believe their former leader, then it must be said that they are 50 years behind.
In any European country, a "handful of people", who disturb the public peace, who pollute the environment and the institution, the State Police, would have done wrong. Penalties in Germany or France amount to fines of several thousand euros, but deportation for deprivation of liberty is not missing.
Protesting does not mean you set fire to the municipality, the prime minister's office, to endanger the lives of the policemen, because that is what the former leader or Belindi directed. The latter has "dreamed in the drawer of the municipality", so he does not stop every Tuesday, pulled out from the archives of Reestablishment, "new corruption files", shakes and reads them in front of that "handful of people", and promises them that "I swear to you that I will imprison Erion, then Rama, and we will gain power".
