It cannot be denied that the Democratic Party has also carried out large protests in terms of public participation. So, how should the continuity of this year's protests be respected in front of the capital's City Hall building (apart from throwing Molotov cocktails at ordinary citizens in police uniform). But the lack of proper form and lack of articulation of the proper path of change, through its leaders, seems to have tired the people a bit. Many of them, who are in the leadership structures (Chairman-Council), fail to understand this, as they need the numbers of protesters they engage to show and identify their work!
After all, today it is easy to organize thanks to social networks, it is difficult to throw the disaffected masses into a street protest. The change of form in the last three protests is likely to turn into the opposite of what the DP expects. Even so, without protest, the afternoon traffic in the capital, especially at the time of coming home from work, is catastrophic. Endless queues and traffic confusion, the first from the heaviness of the capital, the second from the party and the third, which could be the first and from a mass of happy stragglers, who move idly around the capital enjoying the anxiety caused by their grimaces of citizens, when their sources turn a deaf ear to them or by entering, place and place. Besides, the problem is that the way the PD is being organized, it shows that the next legislature will be composed again of the same people, who did not give much to democracy and, above all, lacking statures of legislators, who cannot come out from the chairman's row (for the most part). There is a lesson that comes to us from a series of lectures that Timothy Snyder brings to the American public under the title "On Tyranny" and actually criticizes the spirit of democracy that his country is taking. In the bud related to the physical presence of people, he presents an idea, which has already become a postulate and can also serve the DP: "In order for the resistance to succeed, two limits must be overcome. First, ideas about change must engage people of different backgrounds, who do not have to agree on everything. Second, people must find themselves in places that are not their homes and among groups that were not their friends before."
In other words, open the party! You still have a few more months, where you would have the opportunity to co-opt new people, who would mobilize different professions, but you also had to show them that you would govern differently. Until now, you just put on a show, sometimes crashing on the floor of the parliament and sometimes raising absent causes, like the one with the giant "Free Berisha" banner that you put on the front of your building. Albania needs the Right and a very patriotic image of it and not hiding, as you did with your SP colleagues about anti-fascism and the role of Albanians in this war, or as you no longer feel about Albania's integration process , which surely, if you came to power, you will call it "Your Attribute". Get rid of speaking for the people, but bring in the people, who have to make the difference! In the end, it seems that you will repeat the same government again, but in different clothes. Of course, you came to power.
The political scientist, historian and diplomat Alexis de Touqeville, almost 200 years ago, gave the advice for other areas of thought, but basically for the same phenomenon: "Nothing is as irresistible as the tyrannical power that commands in the name of the people, because by possessing the moral power which belongs to the will of the majority, acts at the same time with the speed and persistence of a single man". Albania is not really under tyranny, but it is turning into a hopeless country, because people no longer have the space to feel that they can serve a purpose, physically even where they are different in conviction. And, the misfortune of Albania, in the decades of democracy, is that it seems as if a single man always leads with the support of all the people. Whether in office or opposition.
