Today in Europe there were three news stories about Albania:
1. British media but also German ZDF called on British or German citizens to flock to the Albanian paradise, which according to them is being "invaded" by 30 million tourists as the cheapest and safest place to vacation.
2. In Brussels, EU Commissioner Marta Kos said: "Within my mandate we will have new EU memberships! We have agreed to finally realize Albania's 'marriage' with Europe, because Tirana is moving faster than any other country in the Balkans and has fulfilled its duties."
3. Berisha officially declared in the PPE:
-Albania is the main gateway for human trafficking;
-Albania, the highway of cocaine and heroin;
-Albanian drug cartels are the strongest in the world;
-Albania, a country invaded by drugs;
Clearly, we have two historical news stories about Albania and one anti-Albanian news story.
But what is Sali Berisha's mission at the age of 81 after 55 years in politics (20 years as a communist secretary and 35 as an anti-communist)?
Why should Berisha complain in Brussels about Albanians from Kukës or Shkodra opening "bar" houses in London? According to Berisha, he is on a mission from God.
In this mission, he has undertaken to destroy the image of Albanians in the world.
By declaring that Albanians are the first in the world as terrorists or as traffickers, Berisha is not harming the government but clearly Albania.
By saying that Albanian cartels are the most dangerous in the world, he is not harming the government but the Albanians.
According to every legal and police statistic:
-Albania does not have drug cartels, but trafficking organizations, and these two differ 100% in legal concept.
-Albania officially and de facto does not have terrorist organizations according to the definitions of the Criminal Code, as Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, etc. do.
Berisha's statements have nothing to do with the Rama government, because 80% of Albanian traffickers operate in England, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Ecuador, etc., and the legal responsibility lies with the foreign countries where those Albanians live and work. The fact that they are Albanians does not make the Albanian government responsible.
-Erdogan is not responsible for Turkish traffickers in Germany, but the German police.
-Meloni is not responsible for Italian traffickers in America, but the American police.
-Xi Jinping is not responsible for Chinese traffickers in France, but the French police.
The main problem is that Berisha is attacking Albania and Albanians more than Belgrade, Beijing, Moscow. Berisha's attacks come on the same day that all of Europe, America and Britain are calling for their citizens to fly to Tirana, Vlora, Saranda, Durrës, Shëngjin – as safe, quiet, free, beautiful, good and historic cities.
Clearly, Berisha has a mission.
Whoever has eyes can see it and whoever has ears can hear its anti-Albanian mission.
However, his mission is impossible.
A black face cannot blacken Albania.
