Political speculation with the votes of Albanians from Greece, a litmus test of

When this entire process is completed, all political, civic, media entities, or even individual individuals have all the avenues under the Electoral Code, the Criminal Code, and the Criminal Procedure Code to claim their legal rights.

The masochism and the most serious political behavior, but also in the legal logic of the exponents of the Democratic Party regarding the votes of Albanians residing in Greece has been unprecedented. At first, from the first day, Flamur Noka, the number two of the party, decided that those votes should not be counted with the others, and Ilirjan Celibashi said no, even though a decision of the KAS forced him to implement the law; then we had the position of the political exponents to not recognize the vote of Albanians residing in Greece.

This entire political stance is, firstly, a violation of the Electoral Code, secondly political masochism; then, the criminal aspect is worth talking about when things calm down.

In the most normal, but also legal, logic, votes coming from all over the country are first counted, they are placed on the table, the election materials that make up that vote, which in the case of the diaspora vote are the envelopes and accompanying documents, are specially stored.

When this entire process is completed, all political, civic, media entities, or even individual individuals have all the avenues under the Electoral Code, the Criminal Code, and the Criminal Procedure Code to claim their legal rights.

But it seems that the DP's stance has been political from the beginning, influenced precisely by factors outside the political sovereignty of the DP itself, but also of the country. The dilemma in this case is whether we are dealing with official Athens or certain Greek political circles?

Fredi Beleri, who is an ally of the DP and as a result of the DP's alliance with Athens became an MEP for New Democracy, did not speak for the Albanians of Greece themselves. He demanded the removal of Sali Berisha. It's just that the motive for this request is a bit unclear. He asked because the Greek opposition clan that is very important in the US wants to take over the DP, or because it gave him a signal for the vote of the Albanians of Greece?

In any case, first of all, the votes of Greece must be counted, because we are dealing with a constitutional and fundamental right. Then, if the DP does not recognize the vote of the Albanians of Athens, but accepts that of the Albanians of Brescia, for example, there is no logical connection here.

However, logic in the DP has long been irrelevant, as President Bamir Topi said. But counting all votes one by one is a Constitutional duty; otherwise it turns into a criminal matter, even a pure one.
