Sali Berisha's speech today in the Parliament was like the "icing on the cake". After days on the networks, the social detachment of the doctor has expressed "serial congratulations" to the US ambassador of the "genre": "Lacian humor with half a brick". Like: "I love the sun, the moon, but even more I want the plane that sends Yuri Kim to the USA to crash." Or "It's very hot, but I feel that Kimete's departure refreshes me" and such nonsense.
Not only the individuals who push this masochistic desire online, but the exact timing that brought this "spontaneous desire", deconspirators a political order, which in fact has staled with time a space that is no longer social, but simply a platform propaganda.
At the beginning of the activity of social networks, a part of society was captured or fed with propaganda that was sold as an opinion or attitude. But today more and more, even in what was called a "human platform" it is being understood every day that the first hand is with the sponsors, which in this case are financial and political.
It is enough to look at one of the most active platforms in the country until recently, of a representative of a powerful country not allied to Albania in Tirana, which a year ago was alive with "fans" who were nothing more than anonymous trolls. Today this page is flooded with a maximum of two comments per day. This is because, it is not the attention or intention to show how many fans there are in Albania.
Returning to our case; the mood catches with the departure of Yuri Kim, has been trying for days to get some attention of joy, of course as much as it could be taken, not to flood the network. The reactions, except those identified by people who are considered either close to the detachment, or crazy about the doctor, had no impact anyway.
In the last posts of the official website of the US embassy on social networks, the savage attacks of Sali Berisha's militants are almost completely absent. Not that they have been deleted, that this is easy to distinguish especially on Facebook, as it is shown, but there are simply no more soldiers to attack America wildly.
Until recently, not only was it being attacked, but a large portion of these attackers came from accounts registered in the US. That they were respectively Albanians living in America, who for the love of the doctor also bombed the place where they lived. Ambassador Yuri Kim's last conference, namely the photo with a short text, has almost no "toxic" posts, i.e. not "militant" insults or praises.
Only posts that seem to be individual, which logically are generally positive or express congratulations and greetings at the end of the ambassador's mission. Attempts or virtual fictions can never replace, or at least disturb, the consolidated attitude of the Albanian public opinion, which is pro-American in its vast majority.
And this has a simple logic: those who were against communism were pro-American and injected this feeling into the generations that followed, while the rest, almost 99%, became pro-American and pro-Atlantic during the 90s, which reached its peak in 1999, when liberated Kosovo. There is no reason for the Albanians to be against the USA, unless this happened when the American government declared Sali Berisha Non Grata.
Exactly, that US decision, apart from a juridical-diplomatic act of the State Department, was also a call for a political referendum for or against Sali Berisha. And it is already clear that if the doctor is in the minority, the American government's decision against him has a big impetus.
Therefore, Sali Berisha is trying to feed the opinion again to polarize it for and against the USA. Because it is the only cause that can at least somehow factor it. With Edi Rama, he is no longer either a version or an alternative even in the eyes of the most zealous followers. The worst thing is that even in the face of Lulzim Basha or the DP who is against him, he is increasingly extinguishing the old galvanization of the pulpit. He is holding it by all means with media aggression or political diversion, but what does not stick, even when it happens, is: "the biggest miracle lasts 3 days".
It seems as if he has "fallen out" and is finding a momentary cause to attack the USA, but with each passing day its relevance fades, because it cannot last forever. And in the end the elections of May 14, more than Edi Rama won the USA, who before the elections said that "Berisha and Meta are the past"...
