New details have emerged from the gunshot wound in Shijak, where Bjondi Guri was injured, while the suspected perpetrator has been identified as Elton Beqiri.
According to information, the incident is suspected to have been the result of an old conflict between two people.
At the time of the injury, Guri was at his workplace, in a bar. The alleged perpetrator is suspected of having arrived on a bicycle, entered the premises and, without exchanging a word, pulled out a gun and shot him in the head.
After the shooting, Beqiri left the scene again on his bicycle. Police immediately began pursuing him and located the area where he is suspected to be, while negotiations are underway for his surrender.
The injured man was transported to the hospital and received medical attention. It is reported that his life is out of danger, after being shot with a bullet in the leg.
The investigation team is continuing its work to fully document the event and uncover the motive.
