Another serious incident was recorded this afternoon in Vlora, where a 27-year-old man was injured as a result of gunfire.
The incident occurred in the area of the Transbalkanike Road, in the "Pavarësia 3" neighborhood, where according to preliminary information, Franko Zanaj was wounded, having been shot in the leg.
Sources from the scene indicate that the perpetrator is suspected of having fired from a moving motorcycle and then sped away. The young man was transported to the hospital, where he is receiving the necessary medical attention.
The police immediately arrived at the scene and launched investigations to identify the perpetrator, as well as to fully clarify the circumstances and motives that led to this attack.
This is the second incident involving firearms reported within a few minutes in the country. Earlier, in Shijak, a person was injured after a conflict between two young men. According to preliminary data, the injured person was citizen B. Guri, while the police are also investigating that case.
