A serious accident occurred this Wednesday morning on the Durrës-Tirana highway, where a Volkswagen Golf 6 crashed into the traffic divider, which entered the front part, right next to the seats.
The footage was published by the "JOQ Albania" portal and witnesses reported that the protective barrier was left half-open by the Elmazaj construction company, seriously endangering the lives of citizens.
Fortunately, the driver escaped without injury, but the incident, which could have ended in a serious tragedy, has raised concerns about the safety of this segment, which has been undergoing reconstruction for months.
