An accident resulting in death was recorded this afternoon on the Plepa-Shkoze ring road in Durrës.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the motorcycle died on the spot. Meanwhile, the police and the investigative team have arrived at the scene and are working to fully clarify the accident.
The police said that it is not known whether it was an accident or whether the 60-year-old suffered a heart attack. The police stated that experts will determine the cause of death, whether it was hit by a vehicle or not.
" At around 18:00, in district no. 13 Durrës, the citizen LZ, 64 years old, allegedly lost control over the driving of the motorcycle and crashed. As a result, the 64-year-old man lost his life. The investigative group is at the scene and is working to clarifying the circumstances of the accident ," the police announced.
