Serious accident in Italy, 54-year-old Albanian woman dies

A fatal accident occurred yesterday evening in Italy, where a 54-year-old Albanian woman tragically lost her life.

There was another 35-year-old woman in the other vehicle, who tested negative for alcohol.

The accident happened yesterday evening in Via VI Strada, shortly after 11:00 p.m.

The Albanian woman was walking on the right side of the lane when she was hit by a Smart car. The driver of the latter is said to have been a woman of about 35 years old, also a resident of Fano. The 35-year-old woman failed to stop in time, colliding with the 56-year-old woman. The collision was so strong that the Albanian died instantly.

The driver of the Smart vehicle stopped immediately to offer assistance. Moreover, she also sought medical help, which turned out to be useless. Cagli traffic police officers immediately intervened at the scene of the accident, where they seized the Smart car.
