A serious accident occurred on the Korçë-Bilisht axis, near the village of Bitinckë. It is learned that a vehicle collided with a motorcycle.
It is learned that a man and a woman who were on the motorcycle were injured and that the couple was transported to the Korca regional hospital.
Their state of health is still unknown, meanwhile the police are at the scene to find out the causes and circumstances of the accident.
"On 02.01.2024, on the "Korçë-Bilisht" road axis, near the village of Bitinckë, the "Isuzi" type vehicle with driver Sh. L., collided with the motorcycle driven by citizen AH, about 64 years old. As a result, the latter and his wife DH, about 59 years old, passenger in the motorcycle, were injured and are being transported for treatment to the hospital in Korça.
The driver of the vehicle was escorted for further procedural actions.
The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced.
