A serious fatal accident occurred this morning on the "Patoku Overpass - Laç" road axis.
It is suspected that an unidentified vehicle hit a pedestrian, with the initials FH, 59 years old. The injured man was immediately transported to the Kurbin Regional Hospital, but died on the way.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene at high speed. Police are working to identify and apprehend the driver and fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
"On the "Patoku - Laç" road axis, it is suspected that a still unidentified vehicle has hit a pedestrian, citizen FH, 59 years old, who was moving on foot.
The injured person was immediately transported to the Kurbin Regional Hospital, but died on the way to the hospital.
"The driver of the vehicle fled the scene along with the vehicle. The investigation group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its work to identify and apprehend the driver of the vehicle, as well as to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident," the police announced.
