The judge of the Elbasan gang fails to get out of the cell again, the GJKKO

Former judge Pajtime Fetahu, also known by the nickname "Komshija" in the coded communications of criminal gangs, failed to convince the GJKKO to release her from her cell. The panel headed by Erjon Çela rejected the request submitted by her lawyer to replace the security measure with a more lenient one, considering the claims of "loss of the power of detention" unfounded.

Fetahu has been in prison since November 2024, after an arrest warrant was issued against her by SPAK, as part of the investigation into suspected links to Suel Çela and members of his criminal group in Elbasan. According to the investigative file, she is suspected of favoring decisions in favor of the group, while encrypted communications discovered by the SKY ECC network exposed her as a potential collaborator in the justice system.

This is not the first time that Fetahu's name has been mentioned in high-profile investigations; she is also involved in the extensive operation "Golden Bullet 2", where SPAK issued over 30 arrest warrants against organized crime. The Special Prosecution alleges that the judge received an amount of 11 thousand euros, a gold coin and was expecting a mobile phone as a bribe from the "Çopja" group.

Known for her suspicious contacts with underworld figures, Fetahu remains in the women's prison in Pogradec, while investigations into her collaboration with organized crime continue. The GJKKO gave no indication of any easing of the measure in the near future.
