One person lost his life as a result of an accident that occurred on Friday evening on the Elbasan-Cërrik axis, in the area near the village of Mjekës.
According to reports, two vehicles were involved in the accident, and the driver of one of the vehicles was the victim.
Preliminary information indicates that a "Benz" and a "Volkswagen Caddy" collided head-on, resulting in the death of the driver of the "Mercedes". Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle was transported to the Elbasan hospital in serious condition.
The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
