An accident resulting in death occurred this morning on the Tirana-Durrës highway.
According to the police, it is suspected that the 33-year-old man lost control of the vehicle and as a result went off the road and fell into the canal.
"In the early hours of the morning, on the "Tirana-Durrës" highway, citizen ED, 33 years old, allegedly lost control over the driving of the vehicle and as a result the vehicle left the road and fell into the canal. The 33-year-old man lost his life in the accident," the Durrës police announced today.
The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
