A serious road accident was recorded a few minutes ago on the Vlora By-Pass, near the village of Kaninë.
According to preliminary information, a Golf type vehicle collided with a van. It is suspected that the cause of the accident was high speed or a wrong overtaking maneuver by one of the vehicles involved.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the "Golf" vehicle was injured and is reported to be in serious condition.
The injured person was urgently transported to the Vlora Regional Hospital, where he is receiving the necessary medical assistance. Meanwhile, the police have launched investigations to clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident.
