
Korça police arrested Edmond Firaj, the suspected perpetrator of the stabbing of a 23-year-old man, two days ago in the village of Moravë, yesterday evening.
According to information, the young man was wounded in the abdomen, but fortunately his life is out of danger. Immediately after the incident, the investigative team identified the perpetrator and began searching for him.
Sources indicate that Firaj was located a day after the incident and at the time of his arrest was in a drunken state. For this reason, he was initially transported to the hospital to receive the necessary medical assistance and then escorted to the premises of the Police Station. Regarding the incident, the 23-year-old stated that the perpetrator owed him a sum of money of 100 thousand lek.
According to him, he had gone to the village of Morava to ask for the money back, but the argument between them escalated into a physical conflict and then the use of a knife. Police are continuing their investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
