The Special Court of Appeals eases the security measure for the former mayor of Libohova, Luiza Mandi.
In today's session, the Special Court of Appeals confirmed the guilty plea for "abuse of office" for the former mayor of Libohova, but commuted her prison sentence.
Sources indicate that the Appeals Court left the 8-month prison sentence unchanged, but unlike the First Instance Court, it decided to suspend the execution of the prison sentence, leaving him in the Probation Service.
Luiza Mandi was accused of abuse of office after a citizen denounced that a project by the Municipality to widen the road was being developed on the properties of his family members.
After this report, SPAK seized the project and found that the property of the family members who also filed the report had been violated.
