Altin Ndoci, arrested at the request of SPAK, as part of the operation codenamed "Golden Bullet", managed to escape from the Durrës hospital where he had been accompanied to perform some tests.
Journalist Klodiana Lala has revealed new details regarding the escape of detainee Altin Ndoci.
According to Lala, Altin Ndoci is considered one of the most dangerous names in the criminal world and is suspected of operating within the criminal group of Nuredin Dumani. Since 2020, Ndoci had been transferred to the Durrës detention center, in order to guarantee a higher security regime for his stay.
During this period, he was treated several times for health problems in hospital facilities. The procedure provides that, in cases where a detainee presents health problems that cannot be treated within the prison, the doctor recommends his transfer to the hospital.
She revealed that today, Altin Ndoci was escorted by the Prison Police from the Durrës detention center to the regional hospital, to a special room where medical examinations are carried out for detainees. Based on previous precedents, including the case of a senior official and the recommendations of the People's Advocate, according to which police officers should not remain inside the room during medical examinations, the escort officers have been standing at the outer door.
