The Special Prosecutor's Office has cooperated with 5 other states in order to discover the drug trafficking group, where Ervin Mata and Eralbi Breçani were part of them as financiers and orderers.
At the time when the criminal proceedings were registered on April 28, 2023, after reasonable suspicions, it was established that the actions and transactions of this group were extended to networks coded as SkyECC.
Through the Ministry of Justice, on May 2, 2023, it has sent a letter of order to the French authorities to administer the names of the users of the codes that Sky ECC carried, oranews reports.
After receiving the names, SPAK's next move was the state of Brazil, where Albanian investigators wanted to know about the trafficking of an amount of 69 kg of cocaine from San Paulo to Valencia, Spain, where the suspicions were that this amount was carried out by the group of persons under investigation.
Colombia was the next country that special prosecutor's investigators needed to know about the activity of the group of traffickers. This is due to a load of 1100 kg of cod which was caught in the port of Santa Marta.
Beyond Latin America, BKH agents under the direction of the prosecution have also requested information from the state of the Netherlands. According to the documents, information was requested on attempts to traffic a quantity of narcotics that had been sent from South America, where a stop was in Antwerp and finally a warehouse in the Netherlands. The last country for which SPAK requested legal assistance was Germany.
The investigators became aware of a load of 166 kg of marijuana narcotics which was caught in a truck driven by the Albanian Bajram Grabova.
According to SPAK, a quantity of 931 narcotics were seized from this group over a period of 2 years. In addition to the charges of trafficking, some of them are also being investigated for money laundering, abuse of office, and providing the conditions to commit murder.
