A serious event has shocked England, where a person attacked with a knife yesterday several people and children at a summer club for children in Southport.
A total of nine people were injured during the attack, including two adults who tried to protect children from the Merseyside knife killer.
King Charles has offered his condolences to the families of the victims and those injured in the attack, while William and Kate issued a joint statement in support of the victims of the horrific incident.
In a statement on Twitter, the Prince and Princess of Wales said: As parents, we cannot imagine what the families, friends and loved ones of those killed and injured in Southport are going through today. We send our prayers to all those involved in this horrific attack.
Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with the attack on suspicion of murder. Although a motive remains unclear, officers say they have ruled out terrorism.
