Investigations to clarify the incident took a turn after the seizure and analysis of the film footage in the area. Their analysis showed that the suspected author Shkëlqim Dukaj stayed for 6 days waiting for Eduart Reçi.
From November 8 to November 13 when he committed the murder. From the footage of the security cameras, Dukaj is positioned on a metal staircase of a hotel adjacent to his bar where there was a visual view from the courtyard of Eduart Reçi's palace.
