New details have been revealed today about the murder of 33-year-old Valter Fjerza in Shkodër.
It is known that the conflict started between the brother of the victim Kolë Fierza and the author, who is also the neighbor of the two brothers. The two parties initially argued about parking a vehicle.
The author has been identified and wanted.
The murder happened in the village of Hot i Ri of the Rrethina unit around 10:00 p.m. on Thursday. The victim was shot with a Kalashnikov assault rifle.
How did the event happen?
Initially, the debate started in a bar near the apartments regarding parking, claiming that the road was blocked. About an hour after this debate, the conflict continued between the victim Valter Fierza and the suspected perpetrator. After the argument, the author, who is also a neighbor of the 33-year-old, took a Kalashnikov automatic weapon and shot him, leaving him dead on the spot.
Immediately after the shooting, the victim's family members came out several times and found him dead in the middle of the road, near his car. After the murder, the suspected perpetrator left in an unknown direction. Numerous police forces arrived at the scene of the murder together with the local police director of Shkodra, Ervin Hodaj. After the information provided by the brother of the victim Kolë Fierza and other residents, it was possible to identify the perpetrator who was declared wanted within a short time.
The police surrounded the area where the murder took place to make it possible to find and capture the suspected perpetrator. Control groups have also been set up at various points to prevent the author from leaving.
The citizen Valter Fierza who was killed is said to have lived a quiet life and was not known as a problem person in that neighborhood. The victim and the suspected perpetrator have been neighbors for many years and knew each other. The debate between the victim's brother and the perpetrator was temporary and according to the information so far, the parties have not had any arguments or conflicts in the past.
The police continue the investigation for the complete disclosure of this serious event.
