A Traffic Police officer was raped on Tuesday evening in the Xhabije neighborhood of Shkodra, after a conflict with two people.
According to preliminary information, the victim is police officer Nikolin Përndoj, who was off duty at the time of the incident. He is suspected of being punched, while the circumstances that led to the conflict remain unclear.
Immediately after the notification, the Police services and the investigation team arrived at the scene, carried out the first procedural actions and launched investigations to fully document the event, as well as to identify the suspected perpetrators.
Investigations are ongoing into the motives of the conflict and the full dynamics of the event, while an official reaction from the Shkodra Police is expected.
