
A notorious criminal from North Macedonia and an Albanian have fallen into the hands of the Greek police, accused of a series of criminal offences.
Fred Mykaj, 46 years old from Mallakastra and Boban Ristevski, 45 years old from Skopje, are accused of entering the apartment of three elderly people 68, 74 and 87 years old in Tripoli Arkadhia in disguise and under the threat of an imitation gun and a knife, tied up and robbed of 19 thousand 65 euros and jewelry worth 500 euros.
After a few minutes, the 68-year-old woman managed to free herself and notified the police.
After arriving at the scene and the first actions, the operation and pursuit of the perpetrators began, ending with their arrest in a forest.
The investigation shows that the perpetrators arrived at the scene with a rented "Suzuki Celerio" vehicle, which had license plates reported stolen on May 10, 2024 in Tripoli.
During the search of the vehicle, 1 imitation pistol, 1 fake Croatian identity card, 1 fake Croatian license, 4 mobile phones and other items were found and seized.
It turns out that Boban Ristevski broke the 8-day leave received from Hania prison for the period 15-22.01.2024 and never returned.
Both perpetrators have criminal records, while Ristevski was convicted for participating in the kidnapping of the ship owner Perikli Panagopoulos, for whose release 30 million euros were paid.
