Two of the 4 citizens wanted in connection with the violence inflicted on the family members of a Socialist Party commissioner, an event that occurred in Pogradec on Sunday morning, have been arrested by the State Police.
The police announced that following the information provided today where at polling station no. 3901, citizen LT, already arrested by the Special Structures for the Investigation of Electoral Crimes at the Korça DVP, physically raped the commissioner citizen E. G, and then several people raped the family members of citizen EG, we inform you that:
"The Special Structures for the Investigation of Electoral Crimes at the Korça DVP, and the operational services of the Korça Local Police Directorate located, captured and handcuffed two of the four citizens declared wanted, specifically the citizens:
LK, 34 years old, and RT, 37 years old, residents of Pogradec for the criminal offenses of "Inflicting injury on family members of a person performing a state duty" and "Intentional minor injury".
Work continues to capture the other two wanted citizens, specifically citizens DM, 30 years old, and EM, 35 years old.
Work continues on the full legal documentation of the event, as well as the capture and escort of the wanted citizens.
"The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution for further action," the official Police announcement states.
