Brahimi became a suspect in several high-profile assassinations, including the Fushë Krujë massacre, where Besmir Hoxha, Brilant Martinaj and Dikler Vata were killed. The event took place on July 17, 2022 and it is suspected that the assassination was ordered and organized by Roan Brahimi to eliminate Brilant Martinaj, Ervis Martinaj's cousin.
On July 22, 2022, in Milot, an assassination attempt was organized against Ylli Brahimi, Ervis Martinaj's right-hand man, in which Klisman Preçi was killed. Brahimi was also suspected of being the organizer of this event.
Roan Brahimi is also suspected of being connected to the murder of Gentjan Bejtje on March 15, 2024 in Larushk, Kruja. One of the people arrested by the police as the murderers' transporter, Ilir Beqaraj, turns out to have friendly relations with him, specifically brother-in-law with Roan Brahimi. The latter, in collaboration with Nikla's group, has strong suspicions that they collaborated to carry out this assassination, and are also suspected of being involved in several recent events that occurred in Kurbin and Lezha. They are thought to have been the financiers and organizers, to hit the rival group of Ervis Martinaj. For the murder of Gentjan Bejtje, it is suspected that they hired shooters from Vlora.
Brahimi left Albania and settled in Dubai. However, on May 9, 2024, he was killed in Athens by two masked men on a motorbike while he was with his partner and his young son.
