
Tirana was shaken yesterday evening (April 17) by a gun attack, which injured 4 people, two of them minors.
The target of the attack was a G Class car, in which were 4 people, aged 34, 19, 17 and 11. It is learned that the perpetrators followed the car to the Shkoza roundabout, then they opened fire continuously.
From the security cameras and the found bullet casings, it is suspected that the perpetrators fired over 30 bullets. It is believed that there were 3 people, 2 of whom fired the gun, while the third acted as the driver.
The perpetrators burn the car
As in any criminal incident, after committing the crime, the perpetrators fled in an SUV and in the Lundra area burned their car and then fled again in an unknown direction.
Itinerary
According to preliminary information, the perpetrators followed the vehicle from the Shkoza roundabout and opened fire on it during the pursuit.
Immediately after the attack, the perpetrators are suspected of speeding away and then burning the vehicle used in the Lundra area, in an attempt to hide their tracks. The burnt vehicle bore license plates AA 040 YV, which are in the process of being verified by authorities.
The wounded
The attack is suspected to have injured four people. Media sources indicate that the following citizens were injured by gunfire: Arens Stafa, 34 years old, and Marko Bardhi Demiraj, 17 years old, who were injured in the hand and arm. Also, Dior Demiraj, 11 years old, and Kian Mullaj, 19 years old, were admitted to the operating room.
The capital's blue uniforms have set up checkpoints throughout the area and at key points in Tirana to catch the perpetrators.
The motives for the serious incident are still unknown, while work is underway to clarify the circumstances of the assassination.
