Footage of the operation to destroy a drug trafficking network led by two Albanian brothers is published.
The traffickers, among other things, had designed and tested a small submarine that could be remotely piloted to transport the drug. The vehicle, actually built, had not yet been put into operation. However, tests have been carried out to use it, within the Lago Grande of Avigliana.
The Italian police have also published the video of the moment when they also designed and tested the mini-submarine, which could be remotely piloted, to transport drugs.
Pending the use of the new vehicle, for more than a year, drug traffickers shipped the narcotic substance, which came from Ecuador, using cars equipped with homemade double-bottoms, traveling from the Netherlands, Spain and France.
This criminal organization was led by two brothers of Albanian origin with great economic capacities, so much so that they could carry out drug trafficking between Italy and Albania and pay the people who transported the narcotics to Turin.
During the investigations, which are mostly concentrated in November 2021 and the end of 2022, the investigators seized over 204 kilograms of cocaine and hashish by tracking several different vessels.
