Execution of Briken Sanaj at 'Kodra e Diellit', the Prosecution brings

The Tirana Prosecution Office has completed the investigations and sent Vladimir (Valmir) Kola, the main suspect in the execution of Briken Sanaj in 2022, to trial, as well as the other 4 defendants.

Vladimir Kola has been charged with 'Premeditated Murder' and 'Unauthorized Possession and Production of Weapons', while the other 4 defendants, Gjelosh Krasniqi, Kened Antoni, as well as citizens with the initials EH, and ZK, have been charged with the criminal offense of 'Failure to Report a Crime' and 'Supporting the Author of a Crime'.

We recall that the serious crime in the 'Kodra e Diellit' complex shocked Tirana on the evening of October 30, 2022. According to the prosecution, Briken Sanaj's brother had a conflict in 2012 with Vladimir (Valmir) Kola's brothers after they harassed his fiancée.

Investigations have revealed that the attacker traveled from Barcelona to Podgorica Airport and entered Albania illegally without registering at the checkpoint.

Vladimir (Valmir) Kola then purchased a vehicle using the license plates of another car, which after the murder of Briken Sanaj was found burned in the village of Domje.

The murder weapon was also found inside the vehicle, while the perpetrator has again crossed into Montenegro illegally.

Tirana Prosecution sends citizen VK to trial for 'Premeditated Murder' at the 'Kodra e Diellit' complex and four other defendants

The Prosecution Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, completed the investigations and sent citizen VK to trial for 'Premeditated Murder' and 'Unauthorized Possession and Production of Weapons' for the murder of citizen BS in the 'Kodra e Diellit' complex on 30.10.2022.

Likewise, the Tirana Prosecution Office is sending the other four citizens, Gj.K., KA, EH, and ZK, to trial for the criminal offense of 'Failure to report a crime' and 'Supporting the perpetrator of a crime'.

From the investigations of criminal proceedings no. 7911, 2024 by the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, it resulted that in 2012 the victim's brother had a conflict with the perpetrator's brothers after they had harassed his fiancée.

At the end of the investigation into the October 2022 incident where citizen BS was shot with a firearm, the examination of cameras, the scene of the incident and the administration of expert reports, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Tirana, concluded that the defendant VK traveled from Barcelona to Podgorica Airport and entered Albania illegally without registering at the checkpoint. After that, he purchased a vehicle using the registration of another vehicle, which after the murder of citizen BS was found burned in the village of Domje. The crime weapon was found inside it, while the perpetrator crossed into Montenegro again illegally.

As above, the prosecution requests the trial of the five defendants.
