Other details have come to light regarding the murder that occurred this Monday morning in Mirdita, where 45-year-old Valter Lleshi lost his life.
According to preliminary information, at around 07:10, Lleshi was found dead inside his Toyota vehicle in the village of Shkorrët, on the Reps-Spaç road. It is suspected that he was shot while traveling.
Sources indicate that the victim was an employee of the basalt mining company in Spaç. In March of this year, an explosive was placed in one of the machines at this same company, but the explosion did not occur.
Meanwhile, one of the investigation leads that the police are investigating is that of revenge. Valter Lleshi's name had been mentioned earlier in a serious criminal incident. He was suspected of being the perpetrator of the murder of Anton Keli, a taxi driver from Rrëshen , an event that occurred in 2020. However, the full circumstances and any possible connection between the events remain the subject of investigation.
Immediately after receiving the notification, numerous police forces arrived at the scene and launched intensive searches in the area to identify and capture the perpetrator or perpetrators.
In the official announcement, the Police announced that a special investigative group has been established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to manage the evidence and fully clarify the incident.
The motives for the crime have not yet been revealed, while investigators are verifying all possible leads that could help in identifying the perpetrators and fully documenting the event.

Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to capture and administer any evidence that will serve the investigation, with the aim of fully clarifying the event, legally documenting it, as well as identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s) .
