Two people have been arrested by the police after being accused of selling doses of cocaine in nightclubs in the beach area of Durrës.
A quantity of narcotic cocaine divided into 150 doses ready for sale, a vehicle, an electronic scale and 4 mobile phones were seized.
In the framework of the intensification of controls and actions of the Police in the coastal area of the district, with the aim of preventing and combating illegalities and as a result of a 5-month investigation with proactive methods, initiated by the Durrës Police and carried out in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office At the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, the police anti-drug operation coded "Hundreds" has been organized and finalized.
Based on the evidence provided by the investigation, the specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Narcotics and Illegal Traffic of DVP Durrës, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja" of this directorate, captured and imprisoned the citizens of MM, 25 years old and E. Gj., 23 years old, both residents of Xhavzotaj, Durrës.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these 2 citizens, in cooperation with each other, procured and sold doses of the narcotic substance cocaine, mainly in night clubs, in the Durrës beach area.
As material evidence, a quantity of narcotic cocaine divided into 150 doses, the vehicle in which these citizens moved, an electronic scale and 4 mobile phones were seized.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions.
