The Swiss authorities, in cooperation with the Italian ones, have finalized an operation to attack a network of drug distributors between the Italian-Swiss border.
Three people were arrested, including an Albanian, while a quantity of cocaine and other evidence was seized. The suspects were dedicated to selling drugs to VIP clients on both sides of the border.
The 51- and 31-year-old Swiss, residents of Bellizona, and the 41-year-old Albanian, an illegal immigrant in the neighboring country, were arrested.
All three are allegedly involved in a large business of distributing drugs, particularly cocaine, to local, mostly select, customers.
The Albanian lived temporarily in the 51-year-old's apartment. The control in the apartment after suspicions and tracking that lasted several weeks, led to the discovery of a quantity of cocaine and marijuana (over 1000 grams), which were being distributed in the canton, the media informs.
The crimes against them are serious offenses and violations of the federal drug law as well as violations of the federal law on foreigners and their integration. The investigations are coordinated by public prosecutor Luca Losa.
