An Albanian who robbed Raheem Sterling's residence forcing him to return home from the 2022 World Cup has been sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Emiliano Krosi, 24, committed 33 burglaries, including the raid on the England star's residence on December 3, 2022.
He used a ladder in the back garden to climb into Sterling's bedroom window and stole ten of his Rolex watches. Around £300,000 worth of jewelery was also taken from the footballer's home.
Krosi, who traveled illegally to the UK in the back of a lorry, has previously admitted being involved in 15 thefts.
But at Guilford Crown Court yesterday, Judge Catherine Hartley ruled he was involved in the remaining 18 burglaries, sentencing him to 12 years and 10 months in prison.
Surrey Police are still hunting his father Alfred Isufi, 48, uncle Henri Osman, 44, and 22-year-old cousin Gerard Kalaja, who are all believed to have fled the UK.
They are alleged to be part of the gang who raided homes across the country between November 2022 and March 2023. Other victims included former Crystal Palace player Scott Dann and Chelsea player Marc Cucurella.
