Organized criminal and drug group, GJKKO sentences Enri Seiti and Aurel Alimeta

The Special Court has declared guilty and sentenced to 11 years imprisonment in total 2 defendants who are accused of structured criminal group and cultivation of narcotic plants.

After the Prosecution's claim, the GJKKO gave 8.5 years to Enri Seiti and 8 years to Aurel Alimeta, for the crimes committed in cooperation in 2019. But both have benefited from the reduction by one third for a shortened trial.

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime submitted to GJKKO file no. 130 of 2019 against 2 defendants for drug cultivation. The trial of this case took place with the rules of summary trial.

At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a panel of judges composed of judges Bib Ndreca, Ardit Mustafaj and Alfred Konomi, today, October 15, decided their guilty declaration and sentence.

Respectively, Enri Seiti, for committing the criminal offense of "structured criminal group", "cultivation of narcotic plants", committed within the framework of the "structured criminal group" was sentenced to 8 years and 6 months of imprisonment, while applying the judgment of reduced to 5 years and 8 months of imprisonment.

The guilty declaration of Aurel Alimeta, for committing the same criminal offenses and the sentence of 8 years of isolation, while in the application of the shortened trial they were given 5 years and 4 months of imprisonment.

According to the criminal file in question, during the police operation four years ago, hashish parcels were found that were destroyed and other material evidence, which served SPAK for the investigative and judicial process.
