The dead body of 33-year-old Dritan Lalaj, who ended his life by hanging himself in Germany, arrived in Frakull i Vogël from Hamburg.
The serious event happened on November 1, when Dritan Lalaj was found dead in his apartment in Hamburg. German police suspect a case of suicide, as the deceased had previously shown concerns about his emotional state.
Family members have shown that he had written a letter to his cousin two weeks before the incident, where he mentioned the difficulties he was experiencing and the thoughts of ending his life. Raised as an only child, Dritani experienced the loss of his mother five years ago, while his family is in difficult economic conditions.
The Albanian community in Hamburg organized a solidarity campaign to raise funds and help the family in returning Dritan's body to his homeland.
