Redjan Rraja is in prison and is accused of murder, illegal possession of weapons, criminal group, theft and committing criminal offenses as a criminal group.
The event happened on November 1, 2019 on the Tirana-Durrës highway near the Shkozet overpass. On the day of the event, prosecutor Ndoja was in a vehicle with a person with a criminal record, known as the "strong man of Sukthi", Landi Muharremi from Sukthi, and with Andi Maloku, a former police employee at the Kruja police station, the prosecutor's driver, who remained dead.
The 'Benz' car with license plate AA 333 ZD (which turned out to be owned by Fadil Çallik) and used by Prosecutor Ndoja, was assassinated near the overpass of Shkozeti when they were shot at with automatic volleys from another vehicle. After the barrage of eight bullets, the car left the road, while the injured were transported by private car. The prosecutor's driver, Andi Maloku, 30 years old, died in the hospital. He was shot in the chest and could not survive his injuries.
How was Redjan Rraja arrested?
The 34-year-old Rraja, a dentist by profession, was "nailed" by the fingerprints and saliva on the mask that were found in the gray "Benz" type car, which the perpetrators of the assassination attempt on the prosecutor left unburnt in Ishem.
He was arrested while trying to escape from Albania. The police initially accompanied him as a suspect, but after comparing the fingerprints taken from him by the police and those found on the "Benz", he was officially arrested as one of the perpetrators of the November 1 assassination in Shkozet.
