New details have emerged from the serious incident that occurred this morning in Shkodër, where Kolë Mani shot his cohabitant Anila Prendushi and then killed himself.
The incident is being investigated as a crime of passion, while preliminary investigations have ruled out the possibility that the couple may have been shot by a third person.
According to sources, 44-year-old Prendushi had requested a separation from 34-year-old Mani, which was not accepted by the latter.
It is learned that everything started 3 weeks ago, when the 44-year-old asked her partner to separate, while the latter sent her a video in which he attempted to end his life by hanging himself.
The woman, according to sources, appears to have managed to convince her cohabitant not to commit such an act and they decided to meet to clarify matters.
The meeting took place this morning, and as soon as they met, they started arguing. Everything happened inside the vehicle.
In the middle of the argument, the 34-year-old man appears to have pulled out his gun, and the 44-year-old woman tried to stop him by grabbing his hands, but failed.
Reports indicate that he shot his cohabitant in the chest and then shot himself.
The 44-year-old, who had three children from her first marriage, is in serious condition in hospital.
