
A 20-year-old man, resident of Belgium, internationally wanted for several criminal offenses, has been arrested in Rinas.
Citizen A. K. is considered a high social risk and was placed in custody with the aim of extradition to Malta.
The Malta Magistrates' Court has issued an arrest warrant against him for the criminal offenses of "Grievous Intentional Injury", "Conspiracy to Commit a Criminal Offence", "Theft", "Possession, Distribution or Production of Pornographic Materials involving Minors" and "Failure to Comply with Conditions of Bail Set by the Court".

As a result, another person with high social risk, declared internationally wanted, was arrested by the State Police structures.
A Belgian citizen, internationally wanted for several criminal offenses, is provisionally arrested for extradition purposes.
The Rinas Border Police Services, as a result of increased controls with modern detection equipment, risk analysis, in-depth interviewing, detailed verifications of travel documents and exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, arrested and handcuffed, for the purpose of extradition, the internationally wanted Belgian citizen, AK, 20 years old, resident in Belgium.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Malta, after the Malta Magistrates' Court issued an arrest warrant for the criminal offenses of "Intentional serious injury", "Conspiracy to commit a criminal offense", "Theft", "Possession, distribution or production of pornographic materials involving minors" and "Failure to comply with the conditions imposed by the Court for conditional release", provided for by the criminal legislation of Malta.
Interpol Tirana will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Malta.
