A 41-year-old man was arrested by the police after being wanted for cannabis cultivation.
Martin Vasile (Leka) was wanted since 2023 after cultivating 480 narcotic plants. On 09.08.2023, in the village of Goraj, Kastrat, police officers found a vehicle in which 480 suspected narcotic cannabis plants, cut, were being transported.
The 41-year-old has just seen the Police officers, immediately abandoned the vehicle and fled quickly, while he was handcuffed today.
"The Malësi e Madhe Police Station, following the work to capture the wanted citizens, located, captured and detained the wanted citizen MV(L.), 41 years old, resident of the village of Qafë Aliaj, after the Shkodra Court has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants ", the police announced.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
