Arjon Hasaj has fully revealed the murder committed, which according to the author was the result of a relationship the victim had with his sister for at least 6 years.
Arjon Hasaj, who is accused of having executed the 33-year-old Ramazan Mataj on the evening of January 4 in the village of Dragoç in Shkodra, has accepted the authorship of the crime, showing the reasons that led him to this act.
Hasaj has declared to the local police of Shkodra that he is the person who killed the 33-year-old Mataj with a firearm, taking responsibility for the serious crime.
Arjon Hasaj has fully revealed the murder committed, which according to the author was the result of a relationship the victim had with his sister for at least 6 years. Hasaj said that the victim broke his sister's 2 marriages in 6 years. According to him, Ramazan Mataj also distributed some videos to his ex-second husband and to other people in the village in intimate moments with his sister.
"I am the person who killed the citizen Ramazan Mataj. For 6 years he had a relationship with our sister. Ramadan is the person who has broken two marriages of his sister in the last 6 years. He has told this story to many people in the village and beyond, while he is the person who divorced our sister twice. She even shared some videos with her ex-second husband and other people in the village in intimate moments with her sister. I opened a fake Instagram account with a girl's name and set up a date with Ramazan Mataj. He came and I shot him there. Then I hid the gun a few meters away from where I killed him. After the murder, I left by bicycle towards the apartment. I have had the gun at home for some time. My sister has not lived in our apartment for some time, she used to live in Shkodër", Hasaj is said to have stated.
Meanwhile, the author's brother, Klisman Hasaj, suspected of providing the conditions to commit the murder and hiding the crime weapon, has not accepted any charges against him, saying that he was not aware of his brother's actions and the fact that he was going to commit murder.
"I had no knowledge of the murder that my brother was going to commit and I have nothing to do with that event," Klisman Hasaj, the author's brother, is said to have declared.
After the serious incident, the local police of Shkodra conducted surveillance in the apartment of the Hasaj family.
During the wiretapping, the two brothers talked about the murder committed by Arjon, and at one point it emerged that the main perpetrator, Arjon Hasaj, regretted hiding the weapon and went to take it again and bury it in the backyard for safety.
After these interceptions, the police arrested the two Hasaj brothers as suspected perpetrators of the murder of the citizen Ramazan Mataj. The police have interrogated other family members of the victim and the suspected perpetrator as they continue their work to fully clarify this serious incident.
